대설산식물 - 진달래과 산앵도나무속 백시니움 오발리폴리움 Vaccinium ovalifolium Sm.

들쭉나무와 매우 흡사하여 그려려니하고 지나치기 쉬운 녀석이다.

화관이 더 짧고 급하게 좁혀지는 형태라 들쭉나무 꽃과는 다르다.

 

 

북해도와 혼슈 이북의 습한 숲과 고산과 아고산 지대까지 개방된 서식지에서 자라는 소관목으로 0.3~1m 까지 자란다

원산지는 러시아 극동에서 일본까지, 아북극 아메리카에서 동부 아메리카 까지다.
