모새나무(진달래과 산앵도나무속) 열매 Vaccinium bracteatum Thunb.

꽃동무가 열매가 달린 모새나무가 거기 있을 거라 해서 찾아봤더니 엄청나게 큰 모새나무가 보인다.

보려던 녀석들만 급하게 보고 임도 주변 풀에만 신경을 쓰느라고 거기 모새나무가 있던 것도 못 알아 봤었네

 

여태만났던 모새나무 중에서 가장 큰 녀석이었는데 열매는 그리 많이 달지 않았다.

그것도 높은 가지 끝에 달려 있으니 쳐다 보고 입맛만 다셨다.

 

열매 끝에 꽃받침 흔적이 꽃모양을 만들어서 이쁘다.
