넌출월귤(진달래과) 열매

습지에 산다는 넌출월귤. 이번 백두산 탐사에서 꼭 만나고 싶던 녀석이다.

꽃을 미리 살펴보지 않고 간 나는 꽃이 떨어지고 남은 좁쌀만한 자방을 붙들고

실갱이를 하느라고 땀을 뺐다. 그게 꽃인 줄 알고 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ... 

 

넌출의 어원은 넌출=>넝쿨=>덩굴 로  줄기가 덩굴성으로

길게 바닥을 기면서 벋어나가는 이 녀석은 잎이 작은 타원형으로 잎 앞면에 광택이 있다.

엉긴 줄기를 헤쳐 보니 연두색 구슬같은 열매가 제 무게를 못이겨서 발등에 코를 박고 축축 늘어져 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 7월에 연한 홍색으로 피고 가지 끝의 포 짬에서 꽃대가 나와 그 끝에 1개씩 달리며

소화경은 길이 3~4cm이고 중앙부에 2개의 소포가 있다. 꽃받침은 4열하고 꽃잎은 4개로 뒤로 말리며 수술은 8개이다.

열매는 나중에 붉게 익는다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하고 장 타원형으로 길이 7~14mm이며 끝은 뾰족하거나 둔하고 밑은 둥글며

표면은 짙은 녹색으로 윤채가 나고 뒷면은 분백색이며 밋밋하고 엽병은 길이 1mm 정도이다.

 

 

 

줄기는 철사처럼 가늘고 물이끼 속으로 뻗으면서 가지가 약간 갈라지며 20cm에 달하고

어릴 때는 짧은 털이 있으나 껍질이 벗겨지면서 없어지며 짙은 적갈색으로 된다

 

 

 

좁쌀만 한 녀석이었다. 꽃이 떨어져서 쭈그러진 자방인데 이 녀석을 꽃이 아닐까 하여 한참이나 끙끙거렸다.

헌데 참말로 꽃모양 같지 않음감? ㅎㅎ

 

 

 

 

 

바닥에는 끈끈이주걱이 가득 깔려 함께 살고 있었다.
