진퍼리꽃나무( 진달래과 진퍼리꽃나무속) Chamaedaphne calyculata (L.) Moench

2019년 백두산 지역 습원에서 만난 적이 있던 녀석이다.

그 때는 시기가 늦어서 겨우 두어 송이 달린 꽃을 애면글면 찍어 왔더랬는데

이곳 북부지역 자생 식물 전시원에서 허락을 구하고 꽃을 담을 수 있었다.

 

2020년에도 백두산과 몽골 탐사 일정을 잡아 놓고 코로나가 터지는 바람에 갈 수가 없었는데

올해 상태도 백두산도 몽골도 탐사는 물 건너 간 것 같아서 아쉽기만 하다.

 

가지 끝 잎 겨드랑이에 주렁주렁 달린 꽃이 오랜 기간 차례차례 꽃을 피워서

열흘이 지났는데도 아직도 싱싱하게 꽃을 피운다.
