대설산식물 - 진달래과 가울데리아속 Gaultheria pyroloides = Gaultheria miqueliana

꽃봉오리를 달고 있는 진달래과 녀석인 줄 알았더니 새순이 자라고 있는 모습인 것 같기도 하다.

딱 한장 퍽샷을 날린 걸 이리 저리 크롭하여서 살펴보기는 하는데 

영~ ~ 감을 잡을 수가 없다.

야호!!  찾았다~!!!

역시 짐작대로 진달래과가 맞았다. 잎의 형태를 보고 고산식물 도감에서 찾았다.

Gaultheria miqueliana 학명으로 검색해 보니  큐에서는 Gaultheria pyroloides Hook.f. & Thomson ex Miq.의 이명이다.

 

일본명 '시라타마노키'  シラタマノキ

상록 관목으로 30cm 정도 자라고 흰색의 들쭉나무 같은 꽃을 피우는데 열매도 들쭉나무 열매 모양의 백색 구슬 같다.

 

원산지는 사할린에서 일본 북부 및 중부, 알류샨 열도(NE. Kiska)이다 

꽃이 핀 걸 보지 못해 아쉽다

올해 이 녀석 꽃을 보는 것도 숙제이다.

한 장의 퍽샷 사진으로 전전긍긍 하며 올려 놓고 나서 월귤 사진을 정리하다가 이 녀석이 월귤과 함께 찍힌 것을 발견하였다. 역시 봉오리 상태의 화서가 자라 있었는데 월귤에 집중하느라고 미처 이상한 녀석이 옆에 있다는 걸 눈치 채지 못했던 것이다.  두 장의 사진 원본을 잘라서 몇 장으로 만들었다. 잎새 사이의 꽃은 월귤 꽃이다.

 

 

아래 사진은 등산로 바위 옆에 나타났던 새로운 녀석이라 폰으로 한 장 찍은 것이다.

한 장으로 원본을 크롭하여 여러 장을 만들었다 ㅋㅋ

 

혹시나 새순일 수도 있다 생각했던 게 역시 꽃봉오리를 달고 있는 화서였다.
