아무튼 새롭게 보이는 종은 모두 찍어 두었더니 비슷하면서도 여러 종의 진달래과가 찍혔다.
3장의 잎이 돌려나 있었고 난형의 엽질이 두텁고 꽃자루와 어린 잎에 부드러운 털이 있다.
고산도감의 찾은 Arcterica nana 의 꽃 화관 사진이 위에서 내려다 본 모습이라 긴가민가했는데
그래도 석장의 잎이 돌려나는 모습이라 이미지를 검색해 보니 맞다.
일본명 '고메바쯔가자쿠라' コメバツガザクラ 이다.
헌데 이 녀석의 정명은Pieris nana Makino 이다.
Arcterica nana 는 Pieris nana Makino 의 이명으로 정리되어 있다.
원산지는 캄차카에서 일본 북부 및 중부이다
고산 능선부의 암력지에 자생하는 상록소관목으로 잎은 두껍고 0.5~1cm 크기의 잎이 3윤생한다.
