털진달래(진달래과)

털진달래의 장관을 볼 기회가 없다. 아니. 제주 한라산에나 설악, 가야산 정상부에 서식하는 털진달래라

땀 흘려서 오르는 수고를 투자해야 그 붉은 축제의 참석을 허용하니 개화기에 맞춰서 일부러 산을 오를 계획을 세워야 한다.

 

그맘 때 쯤에는 저 지대에 봄 꽃들이 한창이라 그 녀석과 정분이 나서 정신이 없으니 언제나 털진달래는 후 순위로 밀릴 수 밖에 없다.

그래도 이렇게 늦은 시기에 한 두송이 반갑게 만나서 아쉬운 짝사랑 대신해 본다.

 

 

 

꽃은 잎보다 먼저 피고 가지끝의 측아에서 1개씩 나오지만 2-5개가 모여 달리기도 하며 화관은 벌어진 깔때기 모양이고

지름 3-4.5cm로서 자홍색 또는 연한 홍색이며 겉에 잔털이 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 긴 타원상 피침형 또는 도피침형이고 첨두 또는 점첨두이며 예저이고 길이 4-7cm, 폭 1.5-2.5cm로서 톱니가 없으며

표면에 인편이 약간 있고 뒷면에 인편이 밀생하며 잎에 털이 있다.

 

 

높이 2-3m이고 소지는 연한 갈색이며 인편이 있고 털이 있다.
