섬진달래(진달래과 진달래속) Rhododendron keiskei var. hypoglaucum Sutô & T. Suzuki

남해의 무인도에서 자생하고 있던 게 발견이 되어 국내 분포가 알려지게 되었다.

식물 전체가 비늘털로 덮여 있다. 잎은 타원형 내지 장타원형이며 만병초 잎과 비슷하다.
