붉은 산철쭉이 펼쳐진 평원은 정말 눈이 부셨다
윗세로 오르던 숲이 열리면서 한라산 정상부와 함께 평원이 펼쳐지자 여기 저기서 감탄의 비명소리가 터져 나온다
날씨가 좋고 한라산 보다 오르기 쉬운 곳이라서 그런가? 관광객들이 얼마나 많이 왔는지......
절정기는 좀 지났지만 붉은 융단을 깐 듯 산철쭉 풍광이 아직 장관이라 .
산 아래쪽에는 꽃이 시들시들하였지만 윗세 정상부에는 환상적이었다.
윗세오름대피소에서 김밥으로 점심을 떼운 후 서북벽쪽으로 1km 정도 더 올라 가다가 되돌아 섰다
