꼬리진달래(진달래과)

참꽃나무겨우살이란 이름도 가지고 있다.

강원도로 가는 도로 옆 절벽에 이 녀석이 한창 꽃을 피우고 있다.

자생지가 강원도, 경기도, 충청북도, 경상북도 봉화군로 되어 있는데 경북의 산골짝에는 흔하게 보인다.

 

잎은 호생하지만 가지 윗부분에서는 3-4개씩 모여 달리고 타원형, 도란상 타원형 또는 도피침형이며 톱니가 없으며

표면은 녹색이고 백색점이 있으며 뒷면은 처음에 흰빛이 돌지만 갈색 인편이 밀생하고 엽병은 길이 1-5mm로서 짧은 털과 인편이 있다.
