새모래덩굴(새모래덩굴과 새모래덩굴속) 암꽃 수꽃 Menispermum dauricum DC.

집 앞 둑방에 새모래덩굴이 산다. 꽃이 피길 기다리고 있는데 제초제를 뿌려버려서 잎이 노랗게 오그라 들었다.

모심기를 할 때 쯤 논둑이나 밭둑의 풀들은 제초제 때문에 수난을 당한다.

집 뒤 논둑을 도배하다시피 하던 숙근초인 쑥도 독한 제초제를 견디지 못하고 이젠 찾기 힘들 정도로 사라졌다.

 

출퇴근 하는 길 섶 빈 터에도 새모래 덩굴이 동그마니 이쁜 잎을 달고 엉겨 있다.

벌써 부터 이 녀석 꽃이 필텐데...하고는 출근 시간이 바빠서 차를 세우지 못하고 퇴근 때는 다른 숲을 뒤지느라고 깜빡하였다.

마침 일요일 번개 탐사에서 담은 새모래덩굴 암꽃이 있어서 수꽃을 찾아야 했길래 아침 시간에 차를 세웠다.

급하게 담았더니 건질 게 별로 없지만 햇살을 받은 겨자색 잎이 너무 이쁘다.

번개 탐사 집합장소를 항하여 급하게 달리는데 별빛마을에 거의 다다랐을 쯤 한 무리의 사람들이 밭둑을 뒤지고 있다.

자세히 보니 ㄲㄲㅁ님과 ㄷㅎ님이 보인다. 새모래덩굴 꽃을 담느라고 다들 집중하고 있다.

차를 세우고 반갑게 수인사를 나눈다. 지난 겨울 전시회 때 뵙던 분들이 대부분이라 서먹하지는 않다.

흔하게 볼 수 있는 녀석이지만 함께 몇 장 담았다.
