제주에서만 볼 수 있는 함박이 녀석이 아직 꽃이 피지 않았다.
6월 말 경 쯤되어야 꽃을 볼 수 있으니 당연히 꽃봉오리도 안 맺혔다. 잎이 방패처럼 생긴 고운 녀석이다.
꽃을 일가화 즉 암꽃과 수꽃이 한포기에서 따로 핀다. 헌ㄷ 내가 살펴 본 함박이는 다른 포기에서 피는 것 같았다.
작년에 담았던 꽃과 열매를 보면서 이 녀석 꽃피길 기다릴 수 밖에.....
