방기(새모래덩굴과 방기속) 아 Sinomenium acutum (Thunb.) Rehder & E.H.Wilson

이 곶자왈에는 방기가 유독 많이 보인다. 아니 제주도에는 방기가 칡덩굴처럼 어디서나 흔하게 보인다.

다들 눈여겨 보지 않았기 때문에 제주의 방기가 조명되지 못하였을 뿐이다.

 

줄기는 매끄러운 편으로 녹색을 띠고 있는데 상록이 아니라 낙엽성이다.

줄기에 나 있는 하트 모양의 엽흔이 매우 재미 있다.
