솜양지꽃(장미과)

이 녀석은 잎 앞면을 제외한 전초에 하얀 밀모가 덮여 있어서 다른 양지꽃과 쉽게 구별이 된다.

 

어릴 적 우리는 봄이면 무덤가에 돋아난 이 솜양지꽃 뿌리를 캐 먹으면서 놀았다.

심이 박히지 않은 어린 솜양지 뿌리는 달착한 맛이 일품이었는데,

 

우리는 이 솜양지꽃을 빼기라 이름 불러 주었다. 어린 빼기 잎은 쌀가루를 묻혀서 떡을 쪄 먹기도 하였다.  

 

근생엽은 여러 개가 나오고 엽병이 길며 길이 약 8~20cm로서 깃꼴겹잎이고 3-4쌍의 소엽이 있으며 탁엽이 엽병 기부에 붙어 있다.

경생엽은 3출엽이고 호생하며 소엽은 난상 긴 타원형이고 예두 예저이며 길이 2-5cm 폭 1-2cm로서

표면은 털이 없으나 뒷면은 백색 면모로 덮여 있고 가장자리에 톱니가 있다. 

줄기와 엽병, 화경, 잎 뒷면에 밀모가 하얗다.

꽃은 4-8월에 취산화서로 피고 꽃은 지름 12-15mm로서 황색이고

꽃받침잎은 난상 피침형으로서 겉에 털이 있고 부악편은 선상 긴 타원형이다.
