펠리온나무(쐐기풀과 펠리온나무속) 꽃 Pellionia scabra Benth. = Pellionia pellucida (Raf.) Merr.

3월 중순인데 꽃이 피펴서 꽃가루가 퍼지고 있었다.

꽃을 촬영하려고 초접사하다시피 했지만 어두운 곳이라 제대로 촛점이 맞은 게 없다.

 

꽃은 이가화로서 황록색이며 암꽃은 잎겨드랑이에 모여 달리고

수꽃은 줄기 윗부분에서 나오는 길이 2-3cm의 웅화서에 달린다.

여태 암꽃화서는 흔하게 보이는데 수꽃 개체는 아직 대면하지 못하였다.

 

추천 국명이 마치 해외식물 같은 이름을 가지고 있어서 유입종으로 착각하겠지만 제주도에 자생하는 식물이다.

산초풀,제주물풍뎅이,나도물퉁이란 다른 이름도 가지고 있다.

 

펠리온나무를 검색하다 보니 부산 사직동의 밭 근처에서 촬영했다는 글이 나온다.

아마도 가까이 두고 보고싶은 마음에 적당한 곳에 심어 둔 모양이다.

사람들이 여기 저기 식물을 옮겨다 심어서 인위적인 자생지를 만든다고 걱정하는 이야기를 들은 적이 있는데

심은 줄 모르는 사람들은 그 걸 자생한다고 전하여서 정보의 오류를 만들어 버린다.

 

울산의 작은 물통에 진퍼리까치수염을 심어 두었다고 자백(?) 하는 꽃친구는 그래도 양심적이다.

그래도 혹여 심어둔 걸 모르는 사람이 그걸 발견했다면 도 자생한다고 소문을 낼 가능성도 있었던 것이다.

다행스럽게도 그 몰통이는 사유지라서 땅주인이 메꾸어 버려서 사라지긴 했지만.

 

부산의 어느 산골짝에 자생한다는 세복수초도 이와 같이 인위적으로 심어놓지 않았나 하는 의문스러운 경우이다.

이런 일을 아무렇지 않게 생각하는 참으로 무지한 사람들이 있다.

 

자연생태계를 오염시키는 이런 행동은 하지 않았으면 좋겠다.
