이번 제주도 겨울 탐사 중에 찾아야 할 녀석 중 한 녀석이었다.
깊고 험한 하천을 뒤지느라고 힘이 들었지만 결국은 이 녀석이 서식하고 있음을 확인하였다.
제주도 습한 계곡부에 서식을 하는 이 녀석은 암수한그루로 꽃은 황록색이며
암꽃은 엽액에 모여 달리고 수꽃은 줄기 윗부분에서 나오는 길이 2-3cm의 웅화서에 달린다.
잎 표면에도 깔깔한 복모가 있었다.
뒷면에도 깔깔한 털이 있었다.
잎겨드랑이에 꽃봉오리가 돌글동글 맺혀 있다. 암꽃화서이다. 수꽃은 줄기 윗부분에서 나오는 길이 2-3cm의 웅화서에 달린다.
6월 초순에 꽃이 피니 욘석 꽃이 필 때 다시 찾아 봐야 쓰겄는디....
줄기는 다육성으로 아주 부드러운 초질인데
오래 묵은 줄기에는 이렇게 뿌연 수피를 하고 있으며 목질화 된다
