지난 4월 초순에 담았던 열매가 거의 익은 상태였던 것 같다.
루뻬로 들여다 보니 벌써 열매가 빠져서 꽃받침만 남아있는 것이 많이 보인다. 열매가 완숙기인 것 같다
꽃은 이가화로서 황록색이며 암꽃은 엽액에 모여 달리고
수꽃은 줄기 윗부분에서 나오는 길이 2-3cm의 웅화서에 달린다는데 웅화서는 아직 확인하지 못하였다.

이 녀석은 화서에 열매가 보이지 않고 쭉쟁이다.
처음에는 벌써 열매가 다 빠졌는가 싶었는데 줄기 끝에 웅화서가 달린다는 수그루가 아닐까 싶어서
다시 자세하게 들여다 보니 오른쪽의 줄기 아래쪽 위치 화서에 열매가 흐리게 보인다.
몽울풀속에 비하여 암꽃 화피가 4~5개로 갈라지고 암꽃은 포와 떨어져 난다
화피가 벌여져 있고 황갈색의 열매가 익어서 떨어지기 직전이다.
잎 모양이 한쪽으로 찌그러진 피침형 또는 긴 타원형이고 상반부에 몇개의 톱니가 있으며 첨두 예저로서
표면이 껄껄하고 뒷면에 짧은 털이 있으며 흰빛을 띤다.
