모시물통이(쐐기풀과 물통이속)

큰물통이 : 화서가 조밀한 원반형으로 3개의 꽃받침 중 2개가 열매를 거의 싸고 있다

모시물통이 : 화서가 느슨한 꼬리형으로 선형의 꽃받침 사이 종자가 잘 드러나 보인다

 

원줄기가 잘린 후 곁가지를 내어서 열매가 달렸는데 모시물통이와 큰물통이가 참 애매하다.

 

큰물통이가 모시물통이보다 종자는 크지만 잎과 화서는 더 작다고 한다.

큰물통이는 엽병이 잎의 길이(1.5~5cm)와 비슷하고, 모시물통이는 엽병이(1~3cm) 잎의 길이(1.5~10cm)와 차이가 있다

 

이 녀석은 원줄기가 잘린 후 곁가지를 내어서 꽃을 피운 녀석이다.

열매 차례는 작지만 열매를 싸고 있는 꽃받침 열편이 선형으로 열매가 잘 드러나 보인다. 해서 모시물통이로 정리한다.
