큰물통이(쐐기풀과 물통이속)

모시물통이에 비하여 개체 크기가 좀 작고 잎의 길이와 잎자루 길이가 비슷하고 잎의 톱니도 적다.

잎겨드랑이에 암꽃화서와 수꽃화서가 마주 나며 모시물통이에 비하여 화서 크기가 작고

화피편이 열매를 거의 싸고 있다.
