식물들은 자가수분을 피하기 위하여 암술과 수술이 시차를 두고 터지는 전략을 쓴다.

이를 자웅이숙이라 하는데 양성화 식물에서 암술과 수술이 시차를 두고 성숙해 자가수분을 최소화하는 것이다.

웅예선숙은 수술 꽃밥이 먼저 성숙하여 터지는 경우를 말하고 자예선숙은 암술이 먼저 성숙하는 경우를 말한다.

 

이 녀석도 웅예선숙에 해당하는데 검붉은 수술 꽃밥주머니가 먼저 터져서 시들고 난 후에
