이태리포플라(버드나무과) 수꽃 Populus × canadensis Moench

출장길 오후 시간에 금호강변을 얼쩡거린 이유는 사실 뿔냉이 때문이었는데

재작년 그 자리에는 환삼덩굴 줄기만 가득 엉겨 있고 뿔냉이는 근생엽도 보이지 않았다.

꿩 대신 닭이라고 이태리포플러 꽃을 담았으니 그것으로 만족한다.

 

수꽃은 거의 꽃밥이 다 터진 상태인데다가 강바람에 얼마나 흔들리는지

좁은 도로 갓길에서 바람과 차들과 실갱이하느라 진땀이 날 지경이었다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

이 녀석의 포는 흰색에 가까운 연한 노란색을 띠고 있다.
