보리장나무(보리수나무과 보리수나무속) 열매 Elaeagnus glabra Thunb.

제주에서 보리장나무를 만나기는 처음이다. 하천 지역의 탐사가 처음이라 여태 만나지 못하였던 것이다.

잎 뒷면은 갈색의 인모가 밀생하고 있어서 갈색을 띤다고 하지만 거의 붉은 갈색이라 겨울 살에 거의 황금색으로 빛이 났다.

보리장나무는 화관의 굵기가 보리밥나무에 비하여 매우 가늘고 왜소해 보이며

꽃의 수도 풍성하지 않고 빈약하게 달린다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

보리장나무는 잎 뒷면이 적갈색 인모가 뒤덮어 있고 잎 가장자리에 물결성 거치가 없고

매끈한 타원형의 잎 모양을 한 점이 보리밥나무와 다르다.  

 

 

다른 한 개체는 잎 뒷면의 갈색 인모가 매우 성글게 나타나 있다.
