보리밥나무(보리수나무과) 열매 Elaeagnus macrophylla Thunb.

붉게 익기 시작하는 보리밥나무 열매가 나무 덩굴에 온통 주렁주렁이다.

몇 알 따서 입에 넣으니 과육이 달긴 하지만 큰 씨앗이 열매를 거의 차지하고 있어서 먹을 게 별로 없다.

  

보리수나무와 뜰보리수나무는 봄에 꽃이 피어 6월에 열매가 익는데

상록인 보리밥나무와 보리장나무, 녹보리똥, 큰보리장나무는 가으에 꽃이 피어 이듬해 봄에 붉에 익는다.

보리밥나무 타원형의 열매는 백색 인모가 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 원형, 넓은 난형 또는 넓은 타원형이고 둔두 또는 예두이며 원저이고 톱니가 없으며

표면에 은백색 인모가 있으나 없어지고 뒷면은 은백색 인모가 그대로 남아 있으며 엽병은 길이 10-25mm로서 갈색 또는 은백색 인모가 있다.
