통영볼레나무(보리수나무과 보리수나무속) Elaeagnus pungens Thunb.

벌써부터 내려가 봐야지 하다가 뒤늦게 찾았더니

이미 꽃은 다 지고 화피가 입을 다물고 있었다.

예년에 비하여 개화가 많이 빠르다.

 

보리밥나무에 비하여 꽃이 작고 잎 가장자리에 파상의 거치가 있으며 잎가장자리가 뒤로 말린다.

어린가지에 갈색 인편모가 밀생하고 가지 끝은 경침으로 변한다.

 

 

꽃차례는 잎겨드랑이에서 나고, 1-3개의 꽃이 성글게 달린다.

꽃자루는 길이 3-5mm이고, 표면에 갈색 인편모가 밀생한다.

 

꽃받침은 백색이며, 원통형이고, 갈색 인편모가 밀생한다.

꽃받침 통부는 길이 5-7mm이고, 기부가 다소 수축되며, 4개의 능각을 가진다. 

 

잎은 장타원형 내지 피침형이며, 예두 내지 둔두이고, 원저이다.

잎 가장자리는 파상으로 두드러지게 반곡한다.

 

잎 앞면에는 은백색과 갈색 인편모가 성기게 분포하나 곧 떨어지며,

뒷면에는 은백색과 갈색 인편모가 밀생한다. 잎자루는 길이 0.6-1.0cm, 겉에 갈색 인편모가 있다.

 

 

가장자리의 파상의 거치가 있으며 가장자리가 뒤로 반곡한다,

 

가지에 경침이 보인다

 

경침이다. 어린가지로 성장한다.

 

맹아지의 경침에는 새 잎이 달리고 가지로 성장하는 모습을 보이고 있다.
