구실잣밤나무(참나무과)

구실잣밤나무는 밤나무 꽃같은 꽃을 피우고 향기도 밤나무 향을 낸다.

5~6월에 꽃을 피워서 이듬해 가을에 익는다고 하는데 그렇다면 올 가을이 익을 덜 여문 열매가 달려 있어야 맞는다

헌데 겨울을 넘기고 있는 열매가 달닌 걸 본적이 없으니 봄에 달린 열매가 그해 가을에 익는 게 아닌지 모르겠다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하고 2줄로 배열되며 피침형, 도피침형 또는 긴 타원형이고 첨두이지만 끝이 둥글며 예저이고 파상의 톱니가 있다

표면은 녹색으로서 윤채가 있고 털이 없으며 뒷면은 인모로 덮여 있어 대개 연한 갈색이지만 흔히 흰빛이 도는 것도 있다.
