팥알만큼 작은 빨간 열매가 귀엽다.

학교 안에 낙상홍 암그루와 미국낙상홍 수그루가 있다. 그럼 이 빨간 열매는 국제 결혼한 다문화 가족인가?

서리가 내리고 낙엽이 떨어져도 빨간 열매가 떨어지지 않고 달려 있어 낙상홍(落霜紅)이란 이름을 얻었다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎 양면에는 고운 털이 많다.

 

암꽃이다. 꽃은 연한 보라색이다.
