좀꽝꽝나무(감탕나무과) 수꽃=>꽝꽝나무 Ilex crenata Thunb.

좀꽝꽝나무와 꽝꽝나무를 구분하지 않고 모두 꽝꽝나무로 올렸었는데 이젠 좀꽝꽝나무 이름을 찾아 주어야겠다.

좀꽝꽝나무는 잎의 길이 8-14mm이고 꽝꽝나무는 길이 1.5~3cm, 폭은 6-20mm로 잎의 크기가 좌우한다.  

 

꽝꽝나무는 암수딴그루이다. 암꽃은 담지 못하고 수꽃만 만났다.

그나마 한라산 윗세오름이었기에 여적 꽃을 피우고 있었던 거다.

=> 좀꽝꽝나무가 꽝꽝나무의 이명으로 처리되었다

 

 

잎은 호생하고 촘촘히 달리며 타원형 또는 넓은 타원형이고 예두 또는 둔두이며 예저이고 길이 8-14mm로서 표면은 광택이 있는 짙은 녹색이며 뒷면은 연한 녹색이고 작은 선점이 있고 가장자리에 가는 톱니가 있다. 엽병은 길이 1-5mm이다.

 

 

꽃은 암수딴그루로서, 5-6월에 백록색의 작은 꽃이 핀다. 수꽃은 짧은 총상 또는 복총상화서에 3-7개씩 달리고 퇴화된 암술이 있으며

암꽃은 엽액에 1개씩 달리고 화경이 길며 퇴화된 4개의 수술과 1개의 4실 자방이 있다.
