청시닥나무(단풍나무과) 암꽃 Acer barbinerve Maxim.

 2012. 5. 6. 강원도.

 

제비꽃 하나를 확인하기 위해서 태백 높은 고개에서 30 분을 달려서 5시 가까운 시각에 숲에 도착하였다.

더딘 걸음에 마음은 급하지만 혹여 넘어지기라도 하면 말짱 도루묵이라 그래도 조심스레 발걸음 옮기는데

그런 와중에도 나무 꽃이 핀 게 없나 하고 머리 위쪽을 두리번 거린다.

 

아직은 나무 꽃이 소식이 없는 듯 한데..... 핫! 청시닥나무 암꽃이다!

청시닥나무 수꽃과 시닥나무 암수꽃은 많이 담았는데 청시닥나무 암꽃을 제대로 만난 적이 없었다.

반가운 마음에 감사하여 시간이 지체되어도 아랑곳 없다. 아주 적기의 꽃 모양이다.ㅎㅎㅎ....

 

 

 

화경에 털이 있으며 꽃잎처럼 생긴 것 중에 색이 더 진한 게 꽃받침잎이고 안쪽에 연한 게 꽃잎이다.

시닥나무 꽃잎은 5장이라 하고 청시닥나무 수꽃 잎이 4장이라고 하는데

아무래도 이 녀석 청시닥 암꽃의 꽃잎 간격으로 봐서는 5장으로 짐작이 된다. 

꽃잎 안에 양쪽으로 열매처럼 생긴 꽤 큰 자방이 보이고 그 가운데 갈라진 암술이 보인다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

청시닥나무의 잎자루는 위쪽은 붉고 아래쪽은 녹색이다
