난티나무(느릅나무과) 열매

육지의 높은 산에서 본 적이 있는데 울릉도 숲에 심심찮게 눈에 띈다.

새 가지 잎의 끝이 거북꼬리처럼 2~3회 결각이 져서 길게 빠진 모습이 특징인 녀석으로 꽃과 열매가 느릅나무랑 같다.

 

하기사 느릅나무과이니 같을 수 밖에 없지만. 묵은 가지나 아래 부분의 잎은 갈라짐이 없이 왕느릅나무랑 크기가 비슷하다.

뿔이 난 도깨비가 여러 마리 보인다. ㅎㅎ..

 

 

 

 

 

높은 가지에 열매가 뭉쳐서 달려 있는 모습이 보이긴 하는데 그림의 떡이고... 마침 가지가 늘어진 녀석을 만나긴 했는데,

에구구~! 열매는 거의 다 떨어져 버렸다. 열매는 시과로 편평하고 길이 1.5-2cm로서 넓은 난형이며 5-6월에 성숙한다.

열매의 크기는 비술나무보다 조금 더 작았다.

 

겨우 매달린 열매 하나에 모든 걸 걸고서...

 

 

 

 

 

높이 20m, 지름 1m이고 수피는 회갈색이며 세로로 얕게 갈라진다. 소지는 연한 갈색이며 털이 있다가 점차 없어진다.
