보고싶었다. 원시의 숲에서. 매혹적인 향을 발산하는 이 녀석을.
소원대로 풍성하게 꽃주저리를 매달고 있는 백서향에 빠져서 몽롱하게 취하다가 왔다.
간간이 부슬거리는 비로 흐린 하늘이 원망스럽긴 했지만 멋진 작품을 원하는 게 아니라
그저 자연에서 만나고 싶은 마음이 간절하였기에 자그마한 키에 뽀시시 웃고 있는 녀석에세 빠져들지 않을 수 없었다.
제주의 곶자왈 숲에서자라는 관목이다. 은은한 향이 무척 매력적인 멸종위기 식물이다.
잎은 호생하고 도피침형 예두이며 끝이 둔하고 길이 2.5-8cm, 너비 1.2-3.5cm로서 가장자리가 밋밋하며
밑부분이 좁아져 짧은 엽병과 연속된다
높이 1m 정도로 줄기는 직립하고 청감색으로 가지가 많이나와 피복형의 수형을 이룬다.
