애기망초(국화과 망초속) Erigeron pusillus Nutt.

그렇게 보고싶어 하던 애기망초를 결국 몇 년 만에 만났다.

 

길 지나던 동네에서 참꽃나무겨우살이가 혹시 개화했나 싶어서 기웃거리다가 난데 없이 이 녀석을 만났던 것이다.

 

귀화식물이라고 하지만 오래 전부터 살고 있었을 터라.

그 또한 우리나라에 살고 있는 식물의 하나이고

그렇게 주변에 위해를 끼치기 않으니 미운 대상은 아니다.

어린 신초는 한 번 본 적이 있지만 아직 제대로 만나지 못햇으니 한 번은 만나보고 싶던 녀석이다.

 

망초에 비해 키가 작고 줄기에 털이 없으며 두상화가  가지 끝에 느슨하게 달린다. 

(학명이 개망초속으로 바뀌면서 망초속 기존 학명을 모두 이명처리되었다.)

 

 

줄기 가운데 잎은 선형 또는 도피침형으로 길이 2~5cm, 폭 4~10mm, 가장자리에 작은 톱니가 있거나 없다
