먼나무(감탕나무과) 수꽃 Ilex rotunda Thunb.

장마 전선 영향으로 연일 비가 오락 가락한다.

날씨가 도와 주지 않으니 계곡을 탐사할 수도 없고 해서 수목원에 잠시 들렀다.

 

이 녀석은 먼나무 수꽃이다.

암그루나 수그루 모두 양성화이지만 수그루의 수술은 대가 길고 암술은 흔적적으로 나타난다

개화후 꽃잎은 뒤로 말려 있다.
