왕괴불나무(인동과 인동속)

사실은 실토하건데 탐사도 탐사려니와 이 곳의 왕괴불나무를 확인하러 온 것이었다.

탐사를 즐기던 꽃동무가 이 곳에서 아무래도 왕괴불나무 같아 보이는 걸 봤다는 귀뜸이 있었는데 올해는 꼭 확인해 보고 싶었던 것이었다

습지와 관목을 헤집으면서 왕괴불나무를 찾는데 잘 눈에 띄지를 않는다.

 

찾았다!!!

골짝 안쪽을 살피던 꽃동무 소리에 잡목을 헤치면서 다가가니 왕괴불나무가 노랗게 꽃을 피웠다.

 

 <한국산 인동속의 분류학적 연구 - 전승훈, 1994> 중 <왕괴불나무>에 관한 분류학적 고찰 논문에서는

우리 나라 왕괴불나무는 일본의 왕괴불나무와 엽병과 화경, 잎의 털의 출현 부위와 분포 밀도에서 차이점을 보이는 변종으로 정리하고 있다.

또한 지리괴불나무는 기본종의 개체내 변이로 인정되어 기본종의 변종에 통합 처리하는 것이 타당하다고 주장하고 있다.

 

덕유산에서 본 녀석은 화경에는 돌기성 선점이 아주 드물게 보이는 것도 있었지만 어린 가지와 화경에 털이 없었다.

엽병에는 털이 있는 경우도 있고 없는 경우도 있었다.

 

이 고개 마루 자락에서 본 녀석도 덕유산에서 봤던 녀석처럼 열매 자루와 엽병, 화경에 털이 보이지 않거나
