각시괴불나무(인동과) 열매

오락가락 하는 빗줄기와 간간이 안개와 바람이 함께 몰아치는 산 능성이에서도

찰나의 시간을 얻어서 나무 열매들을 담는다. 

이 산의 능선에는 각시괴불나무가 많이 자생하고 있다.

 

나무를 구분하기 어렵다고들 하지만 봄부터 관찰하면서 특징만 익혀두면 쉽게 이름 불러 줄 수가 있다.

이 녀석은 화경이 길고 위로 꼿꼿하게 서는 점과 꽃자루, 어린가지, 잎 양면, 잎자루에 긴털이 많기 때문에

다른 괴불나무 종류보다 알아채기가 쉽다.

 

 

 

가을이 되면 대부분의 털이 거의 사라져서 털을 가지고 구분하려면 힘이 든다.

헌데 이 녀석은 아직도 열매자루와 잎 표면에 털의 흔적들이 좀 남아 있다.

 

 

 

 화경은 길이 1.5-2.5cm로서 털과 선점이 있으며 포는 자방보다 길거나 같고 소포와 더불어 선점이 있다.

 

 

 

괴불나무 종은 1개의 꽃자루에 2송이 씩 붙어서 꽃이 피는데 나중에 두개의 자방이 하나로 붙거나 반쯤 붙는 경우가 많다

청괴불나무, 흰괴불나무, 홍괴불나무, 지리괴불나무 등이 합체를 하는 경우이다.

전혀 한몸이 되지 않고 완전항 1쌍의 열매가 되는 경우도 있는데 각시괴불나무, 올괴불나무,섬괴불나무, 괴불나무 등이 그러하다.
