감탕나무(감탕나무과 감탕나무속) 열매 Ilex integra Thunb.

남도 상록수인 감탕나무 열매도 한창 붉게 익고 있다.

열매 배꼽 부분에 갈색으로 변하여 남아 있는 암술머리가 마치 꽃잎처럼 생겨서 참 신기하다.

잎자루가 매우 짧아서( 8-15mm) 같은속 먼나무(12-28mm) 잎과 구분이 되는데 이 녀석 꽃을 아직 담지를 못하였다.

 

잎 양면에 털이 없고 거치가 없거나 2-3개의 톱니가 있으나 맹아지에 붙는 잎에는 거치가 있다.

잎의 표면은 짙은 녹색이고 아랫면은 담황록색이며 엽병은 길이 8-15mm이다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 혁질이고 타원형,긴 타원형 도는 긴 타원상 도란형이며 급한 예두 둔미이고 예저이다

길이 5-10cm, 나비 2-3.5cm로서 양면에 털이 없고 거치가 없거나 2-3개의 톱니가 있으나 맹아지에 붙는 잎에는 거치가 있다. 

 

 

열매는 둥글며 지름 1-1.2cm로서 9-10월에 붉게 익고 과경은 길이 1cm 정도이다.
