황벽나무(운향과 황벽나무속) Phellodendron amurense Rupr.

ㅎ...이름을 찾았다. 잎새가 싱그러워서 담아 왔던 녀석이다.

깃꼴잎에 코르크질이 발달한 수피를 가진 이 녀석.

 

꽃도 열매도 없어서 이름을 못 찾아서 그냥 담아 두었는데

쉬나무나 머귀나무와 같은 운향과일 것 같아서 운향과를 뒤지니 수피가 황벽나무와 같다.

이 녀석 수그루이기 때문에 잎만 무성했었던 거다

 

제주의 한라생태숲에서 이름표를 달고 있던 황벽나무 열매를 담은 적이 있는데

열매도 없는 자생 상태의 황벽나무라 알아채지 못하고 헤맸던 게다.

이제는 확실하게 특징을 살펴 두었으니까 어디서 만나든지 이름을 불러줄 수가 있겠다.

수피의 내피가 황색을 띠고 있어서 황벽나무란 이름을 얻었다

 

 

잎은 마주나며 7~13개의 소엽으로 이루어진 우상복엽으로 일이가 20~40cm에 이른다.

잎 뒷면은 연한 녹색이고 주맥 기부에 백색의 긴털이 밀생한다
