황벽나무(운향과) 열매 Phellodendron amurense Rupr.

황벽나무는 수피의 코르크 층이 두터운 게 특징이다

아직 꽃은 본 적이 없고 작년 검게 익은 열매에 이어 열매만 두 번 째다.

 

수피의 내피가 노란색을 띠어서 황벽나무란 이름을 얻었다고 한다

강원도에서 자생하는 황벽나무를 만난 적이 있다.

한라수목원에도 식재되어 있길래 제주도에도 자생하는 줄 알았더니 도감에는 제주와 전남을 제외한 전국에 서식을 한다고 한다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7~!3개의 소엽으로 이루어진 깃꼴잎으로 5~10cm의 소엽은 난상타원형으로 끝이 꼬리처럼 길다.

 

 

뒷면은 연한 녹색으로 주맥 기부에 백색의 털이 있다
