쉬나무(운향과 쉬나무속) 열매 Tetradium daniellii (Benn.) T.G.Hartley

쉬나무 열매가 붉게 익으면서 껍질이 벌어져서 까만 종자가 분가할 준비를 하고 있다.

열매가 높게 있어서 부러진 나뭇가지로 잡아 당겨서 한 손으로 붙잡고 덜덜 거리면서 담았다.

나무 중에서 말채나무가 가장 늦게 꽃을 피우는 줄 알았는데 이 녀석은 한술 더 뜬다.

쉬나무는 가장 늦은 7월 중하순~8월에 꽃을 피운다.

 

둥근 모양의 삭과는 5개로 갈라지며 길이 8mm로서 10월에 붉은색으로 익으며

종자는 타원형으로 검정색을 띠며 윤채가 있고 등유로 이용한다.

 

 

 

 

 

7월의 28일의 모습 :  옆에는 열매가 달리는 나무가 있는데 여적 꽃이 한창이었다.
