까치밥나무(범의귀과) 열매

가을 늦장마인가? 비가 주말까지 연결되어 일기 예보상으로는 흐리거나 가끔 비가 온다는 좋지 않은 날씨였지만

비는 오지 않으려니 기대를 하고 길 나섰다. 

 

산 아래는 비가 뿌리지 않았지만 능선에 도착하니 짙은 안개와 함게 바람과 비가 함께 흩뿌린다.

우의를 꺼내어 착용하고 가는 데까지 가 보기로 하고 등산로를 접어드니 비가 그치다가 뿌리다가를 반복한다

높은 산이라서 우의를 입었는데도 약간의 한기가 느껴지는 기온이다.

 

가을 꽃이라야 뭐 초오속 녀석들 정도일테고 열매는 좀 만나지 않겠나 싶었는데

작년 봄에 꽃을 담았던 자리에 까치밥나무 열매가 더러 보인다.

까치밥나무는 까마귀밥나무속의 다른 녀석들과 달리 양성화라서 꽃만 피면 일단 열매는 달리는데 결실율이 영 아니올시다 이다.

 

개앵도나무와 까치밥나무는 잎의 모양이나 꽃이 양성화인 점 화서의 모양이 비슷하여 구분이 참 모호한데

지난 봄에 드뎌 그 두 녀석을 구분점을 확인하고 다시 정리를 하였다.

 

식물체의 줄기, 엽병, 잎과 화서 등의 털은 여름 이전에는 관찰이 가능하지만 가을이 되면 거의 사라지는 경향이 있어서

까치밥나무의 털도 지금은 확인이 어렵지만 꽃이 필 때 화서와 잎 등의 털을 확인하였기 때문에 까치밥나무 열매로 정리할 수가 있다.

 

까치밥나무 : 화서에 털이 밀생하고, 잎 표면에 잔털이 산생하며 뒷면에 융모가 있다.동아는 난형이며 털이 있다. 소지에 짧은 털과 지점이 있다.  개앵도나무 : 화서는 까치밥나무에 비해 털이 적고, 표면은 녹색이고 뒷면 맥위에만 털이 있다.     가지는 털이 없으며 굵고 동아(冬牙)는 난형이고 털이 없다.
