가래(가래과)

가까운 뒷동네 산자락을 올랐다.

작은 저수지 못가에서 가래 녀석이 꽃가루를 뿌려 놓은 모습에 한참 들여다 보았다

화서 아래에 꽃가루가 하얗게 떨어져 있었지만 수술을 아무리 찾아도  보이지 않는데....

자방과 4개의 화피에도 꽃가루가 덕지덕지 묻어 있다

 

 

 

가래 꽃의 구조에 대한 도감의 기재문을 보면

꽃잎은 4개로서 약격(葯隔)이 있고 끝에 짧은 암술대가 달린다.

수술은 4개로 세로로 터지는 2개의 포로 덮인 꽃밥이 있고, 자방은 4개이다.

 

헌데 아무리 들따 봐도 수술의 흔적을 찾을 수가 없다
