애기가래(가래과 가래속) Potamogeton octandrus Poir.

이 녀석이 못 저 안쪽에 동동 떠 있어서 

애기가래일지 가는가래일지 모른다.

두 녀석은 열매가 달리기 전에는 구분하기 어렵다

.	열매	잎	엽병	탁엽
가는가래	둥글고 대가 있으며 단단한 과피에 싸여 있고 뒷면에 닭볏 모양의 돌기가 있다	수중엽 : 길이 4-6㎝, 나비 0.7㎜ 부유엽 : 긴 타원형, 길이 2-2.7㎝, 나비 0.5-1㎝	길이 6-14㎜이고	길이 6-16mm
애기가래	넓은 난형이며 길이 2mm 단단한 과피에 싸여져 있으며 부리가 짧고 3개의 능선, 중앙부의 능선에는 날카로운 톱니 모양 돌기가 있다	수중엽 : 실같이 가늘고 길이 3-4.5㎝, 나비 0.3-1㎜ 부유엽 : 긴 타원형, 길이 1.7-2.5㎝	길이 7-20mm	길이 8-10mm
