구실잣밤나무(참나무과 모밀잣밤나무속) 암꽃 수꽃

5월 중순의 제주는 녹나무와 구실잣밤나무 꽃이 흐드러지고 있었다.

특히 구실잣밤나무는 가로수로도 심겨져 있는데다가 육지의 상수리나무처럼 어디서나 가까이 자라기 때문에 비릿한 향이 코를 찔러대었다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 일가화이며 황색이고 5-6월에 피며 웅화서의 길이 8-12㎝이고 새가지 윗부분의 엽액에서 나오고 색은 노란색이다.

수꽃은 5-6개로 갈라진 화피열편과 15개 정도의 수술이 있다. 수꽃화서이다.

 

 

 

 

자화서는 길이 6-10㎝로서 윗부분에 달린다. 암꽃은 각각 3개의 암술대가 있으며 밑부분의 엽액에 달리고 총포는 난형이다. 암꽃화서이다.
