내가 본 나도밤나무 중에 가장 북쪽에, 안동에서 가장 가까운 곳에 자생하고 있는 곳이다.
일 전 나도밤나무 꽃이 폈다는 꽃동무의 전갈을 받고 갈 시간이 날까 머리를 굴렸다가
짜투리 시간을 이용하여 울산에 이어 결국 이곳까지 바쁘게 돌아서 꽃을 담을 수 있었다.
늘 개화 시기를 맞추지 못하여 꽃을 제대로 담은 적이 없었는데 절정은 지나긴 했지만 실망스러운 건 아니었다
헌데 이 녀석이 우째 이 곳에 살고 있는지 수 그루 군락을 이루고 하얗게 꽃을 피우고 있는 모습이 참 신통하였다.
꽃잎을 자세하게 관찰하려 했는데 너무 늦은 시각이라 분명하게 담기 어려웠다.
도감에는 꽃잎은 3개는 원형, 나머지 2~3개는 선형이며 수술도 3개은 비늘 같고 2-3개은 완전하며 암술은 1개라 한다.
