너도밤나무(참나무과)

 2013. 6. 14. 울릉도.

 

울릉도에만 자생하는 특산식물이다.

나무 꽃이 피는 시기에 무슨 일이 있었는지. 아니면 해걸이를 하는 겐지 올해는 열매 구경을 할 수가 없다.

 

 

 

 

 

작년에 담은 열매이다.

열매 겉에 각두가 있는 점은 참나무과 열매 특징을 보여주는데

열매 자루가 길고 세갈래로 갈라지며 삼각뿔 모양의 3개의 열매가 들어 있다.

 

 

 

잎은  난형, 타원형 또는 긴 난형이고 끝이 뾰족하며 원저, 넓은 예저 또는 아심장저이고

길이 6-12cm로서 표면에 백색 털이 있거나 없으며 뒷면은 중륵 기부에만 털이 있고 황록색이며

가장자리는 엽맥 끝이 오므라져서 파상 또는 얕은 치아상의 톱니로 되고 9-13쌍의 측맥이 있으며 엽병에 털이 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

높이가 20m에 달하는 교목으로 곧게 자라며 원추형의 수형을 이루고 수피는 회백색이며 평활하다.
