분단나무(인동과)

산수국, 백당나무처럼 분단나무도 단성화와 양성화로 구성되어 있다.

새가지 끝에 산방화서로 달리며 화경이 없고 기부에 1쌍의 잎이 있으며

가장자리에 지름 2-3cm의 큰 백색 꽃이 달리고 중앙부에 6mm길이의 소화가 뭉쳐 달리며 꽃은 5월에 핀다.

큰 꽃은 꽃잎이 5개로 깊게 갈라지며 암술은 있으나 성숙하지 않고 중앙의 소화만이 열매를 맺으며 수술은 꽃 밖으로 나온다. 

 

 

 

 대생하고 막질이며 넓은 난형 난상 원형 또는 원형이고 둔두 또는 급한 첨두이며 심장저 또는 절저이고

표면에 털이 없으며 뒷면 맥 위에 성모가 있고 가장자리에 복거치가 있으며 측맥이 2개 이상으로 갈라지고

엽병은 길이 1.0-4.7㎝로서 성모가 있다.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

높이가 5m에 달하고 가지의 골속은 백색이며 소지에 성모가 있다.
