산수유(층층나무과) 열매 Cornus officinalis Siebold & Zucc.

미국부처꽃을 담으러 갔다가 산수유 열매를 담았는데 잊어버리고 있었다.

의성 사곡은 산수유 꽃으로 이름이 나 있다. 3월 말이 되면 사곡 골짜기가 온통 노란색으로 변한다.

이 때 진사들이 많이 몰려드는데, 이것도 의성군에서는 봄철 산수유 축제로 개발하는 바람에 순수한 맛이 사라져 버렸다.

내년 봄에는 개지치도 볼겸 산수유 꽃이 필 때 발걸음 한 번 해야겠다.
