감태나무(녹나무과생강나무속) Lindera glauca (Siebold & Zucc.) Blume

붉게 물든 매끈한 잎이 떨어지지 않고 겨울 동안 그대로 산을 장식하는 녀석이다.

까만 열매가 붉은 단풍 사이에서 반짝거리는 매력적인 나무이다.

수피는 매끈하고 단단하여 곡식을 타작할 때 쓰이는 기구인 도리깨 재료로도 이용되는데 어린 순이 붉은 게 특징이다.

 

요즈음 나무나 풀들의 효능을 분석하여 어디에 좋다느니 하는 통에 풀과나무들이 수난을 많이 당하고 있다.

뭐가 있다고 하면 싹슬이를 해 버리니 참으로 걱정이다. 적당한 채취에 대한 공감대가 필요할 때다.

 

 

 

 

겨울눈도 꽤 큰 편으로 인편에 털이 없고 분명하며 이렇게 붉게 단풍이 든 채로 삭막한 겨울산을 장식해 준다.

 

 

 

 

수피는 회백색으로 평활하며 소지는 회백색이고 가지에 털이 없다
