감태나무(녹나무과생강나무속) Lindera glauca (Siebold & Zucc.) Blume

겨울이 되어도 붉게 단풍이 든 잎이 떨어지지 않고 봄을 기다리는 녀석이다.

잎이 다소 두텁고 윤채가 있으며 거치가 없이 밋밋하다.

 

 봄에 이 녀석 꽃을 담으려고 작년 가을의 기억을 찾아서 엉긴 잡목들을 헤치고 뒤졌지만 결국 헛걸음 하고 말았는데

오늘 여유있게 찾아 다녔더니 목표 지점에서 다소 떨어진 곳에 있었던 것을 몰랐고야.

나무 위를 사위질빵이 뒤덮고 있길래 줄기를 잘라 버렸다. 잎은 벌레들이 많이 뜯어 먹어서 많이 상하여 아쉽다.

 

 

그런데 이 녀석이 약효가 있다고 너도나도 채취를 하는 모양인데 그게 문제다.

어디에 좋다고 알려지만 씨를 말리는 극성이.

위치를 확실하게 알아 두었으니까 내년 봄에는 꼭 꽃을 담아야 쓰겄다.

 

 

암수딴그루로 잎과 함께 꽃이 피는데 잎겨드랑이의 산형 꽃차례에 자잘한 노란색 꽃이 모여 달린다.

콩알만한 둥근 열매는 검은색으로 익는다. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 다소 혁질이며 거치가 없이 밋밋하다. 단풍이 들어도 떨어지지 않고 겨울을 난다.

 

뒷면은 회록색이고 털이 없다.

 

가지가 매끈하다. 수피는 회백색으로 평활하며 소지는 회백색이고 가지에 털이 없다.
