일본의 왕벚나무 染井吉野 소메이요시노: Prunus × yedoensis

영남대학교 천마아트센터에서 풍류대장 출연 팀의 전국 투어 공연을 보게 되었다.

 

공연 초대권 한 장이 여유가 있다는 꽃동무의 전화에 두말 않고 대구까지 가겠다고 대답하고

일찍 서둘러서 공연시간 두 시간 전에 영남대학교 캠퍼스에 도착하였다.

 

교직에 있을 때  이 곳에서 교육을 받느라고 한 번 와 본 적은 있지만

대학 캠퍼스 방문은 정말 오랜만이었는데 

괜스레 이십대 젊은 시간으로 소환된 듯 설레이는 기분이다.

 

풍류대장은 jtbc방송국에서 실시한 젊은 국악인들의 오디션 프로그램이었는데

국악을 좋아하던 나는 첫회부터 마지막 회까지 놓지지 않고 본방을 사수했었다.

6개월 동안 방송이 끝난 후 전국 투어 공연을 시작하게 되었는데

대구 공연은 코로나로 미루다가 이제사 하게 된 모양이었다.

 

최종 파이널 경연까지 오른 서도밴드, 억스, 이상, 온도, 김준수, 김주리

4그룹과 개인 2팀울 중심으로 공연이 이루어 졌는데 촘촘 팀과 강태관도 스페셜로 출연을 흥을 돋궈 주었다.

오디션 때도 웃음을 주던 최재구와 최혜림의 진행으로 오디션 뒷이야기를 풀면서 재미를 더해 주었다.  

 

공연 하나 하나 모두 얼마나 신이 나던지 3시간 내내 손뼉을 치고 소리를 질러 대었다. 

코로나로 환호는 하지 말고 손뼉만 치라고 했지만 내가 흥을 주체하지 못하는 성격이라서 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

 

나만 그런 게 아니라 국악 마니아들이 관람을 하게 되니 자연스레 환호와 손뼉으로 호응을 하게 되었고

공연 팀들은 더 신이 나서 열정적으로 공연을 해주었다.

 

재미 없다고 소외받던 국악이 양악과의 접목으로 편곡한 곡으로 공연을 하여

지루함도 줄이고 신명을 돋우어 주니 관객들의 환호와 장단을 맞취 주는 리억션이 아주 수준 급이었다.

나도 한 때 가야금과 대금을 배우면서 보낸 시간들이 있었기에 국악 공연에 대한 갈증을 해소할 수 있어서 행복한 시간이 되었다.

공연 시간을 기다리던 중에 캠퍼스의 벚꽃이 하도 화사해서 카메라를 들고 돌아 다녔다. 

 

꽃받침 통과 꽃자루에 털이 많이 보이길래 잔털벚인가 싶었는데

꽃 한송이를 해부하니 암술대 기부에 털이 보이는 게 왕벚나무였다.

어쩐지 꽃자루가 짧고 꽃받침이 조금 통통하다 싶었다.
