생이가래(생이가래과 생이가래속) Salvinia natans (L.) All., 1785.

호수, 저수지, 연못, 논 등 가두어진 물이 있는 곳에서 떠서 자라는 한해살이 수생 양치식물이다.

 

 

 

한 마디에서 잎은 3장씩 돌려나지만 2장은 마주나서 물 위에 뜨고,

1개는 물속에 잠기며 잘게 갈라져서 양분을 흡수하는 뿌리의 역할을 한다

 

 

가을이라 잎 뒷면에 주머니 같은 것이 생겨 안에 포자낭과가 형성되어 있다
